Great sushi and hibachi

Want hibachi? Much worth the extra drive from Kobé. Everything was perfectly cooked and our chef wore a cowboy hat. 10/10

I asked to see the menu before we sat down. They handed me the regular menu and the lunch menu. Once we sat down and had ordered drinks, the waitress took the lunch menus away and told us that the lunch menu wasn't available on a Sunday so that we ended up ordering much larger dishes than we wanted and spent about $20.- more than planned. Also, after ordering the salmon and shrimp dinner, we were informed that it only comes with either one or the other but we were welcome to order shrimp on the side. The place is way overpriced and too dark inside.The soups and salad were marginal at best. The Sushi was decent but more than we had wanted. Not going back. Also, had some serious bloating when we left.There are many great places in the area that don't have some tactic to sucker people into more than they want.

Momiji has great food at reasonable prices. The wait staff remembers our preferences like using a knife and fork. It generally is a quiet uncrowded place to have lunch. We always have very good service.

Currently under new ownership, Momiji does sushi quite well. The dragon, spicy tuna and eel are all very good. Presentation was middle of the road, but all in all not bad. What I did not like was that the restroom was a bit of a mess and that the restaurant has a large fountain that is part of its decor. The thing looked quite dusty and mess. Not exactly what I like to see while dining. Weather permitting, I will opt for sitting either outside or at the bar next time.

This spot is worth giving a shot. They serve large portions for reasonable rates. Regularly well kept and with great ambience. Highly recommended.

The best hibachi in Dutchess County, period. I have been eating here at least once a month ever since they opened about 10 years ago. Monica and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. As a novelist, I frequently use the place as a second office in the afternoons, writing in the back of the restaurant while eating my hibachi shrimp or scallops. Friendly staff, great food, pleasant atmosphere.

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this great restaurant. Well we passed a sensational evening and the restaurant was clearly the reason for the successful evening. The team helped in a very nice style, the cuisine was appetizing and my buddies were very delighted. We shall absolutely visit again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

We had an awesome at this spot. We liked the amazing vibes and the menu. The staff members are super amiable. I’m content we ultimately decided to visit this spot.

Ordered for take out... got home and its skimpy to say the least. Looks like the scallops were cut in half to make it look like more and the vegetables are a pathetic serving. Tastes good but not worth the price.

Absolutely awesome. First time there and plan on returning. The staff was very accommodating with our 10 month old grand baby, the hibachi chef was great entertainment and the food very tasty

Food is ok but we were rushed to place order and then ignored, the waitress service is very slow, and with no personality. Almost annoyed at us for being there. Never again.

Very disappointed. I took my 4 year old daughter out for a "daddy-daughter" date night. They told me when i got there that I had to order her an adult hibachi meal. I thought ok, maybe because they are going to put us on a table that isn't full. Nope. They put us at a table that couldn't possibly fit any more people at it (probably 10 people including us). So why the adult meal? On top of that, they charged me an extra $12 for fried rice for both of us, without telling me that was an extra charge. The food was decent the show part was ok. I would rather go to the place in Poughkeepsie - better food and better experience. Won't come here again

In predictable fashion, the sushi is oh so average. It's not really their fault - there is an inverse relationship in sushi quality vs distance from a major metropolitan area. It's just the plain truth.

Door standing open so it was hot it there with flies on the tables. Food is great. Noisy from the hibachi chef who only knows how to bang things around to make it look like he’s doing something. Foods great, tho

Lovely sushi/hibachi restaurant. We sat at the sushi bar, and was given an amuse bouche of seared salmon on cucumber which was flavorful, light, and textured. The crunch and coolness of the cucumber with the savory flavor of the salmon was a great way to get our taste buds excited. My friend had the chicken teriyaki, well cooked and tasty, veggies were thankfully not overcooked, but crunchy. The roll I had was really good, but too big, and it fell apart, and no way to eat it in one bite. I would go again.

My boyfriend and I go here on an almost weekly basis for lunch. The staff recognizes us and has our order down! The staff here are very pleasant. We love coming here because we can always count on good food.

My family loves eating here! The hibachi is great and entertaining for the kids( and adults). I have found the staff to be cheerful and pleasant. The sushi is also very good. The magical roll is a must have every time we come. I regularly take my kids here so I consider Momiji to be kid friendly place.

Went here for Valentine's day with my girlfriend. She got scallops and steak, I got chicken and filet mignon all hibachi. Food was good and actually seemed somewhat cheaper than kobe. Why 4 stars? The service here needs work. She only came by our table 3 times.. take our order, give us our drinks, and pick up the plates. Not once did we get asked for another drink until the end. We were at a table, and she wasn't that busy. We didn't feel rushed like others mentioned. I'm a generous tipper and tip based on service, but they clearly missed the mark.
